Dog & Duck Show

Sunday June 25

The celebrated Stuart Barnes and his team will be appearing on Sunday 25th June with his amazing trained and untrained sheep dogs to herd ducks and a lot more besides! It’s great fun and will amuse and educate on common dog behaviour issues and how these can be resolved. The show demonstrates how untrained and poorly behaved dogs still have a programmed natural instinct, giving the audience a new understanding of the Way of the Dog.

Nature Trail

Approximately 1km Walk to the Lake

A delightful walk with fauna and flora on the way to the lake itself nestled within a wetland reserve and fringed with rushes. It is a natural habitat for marsh marigolds, ragged robin and cuckoo flowers. It’s also home to a family of swans that you can observe from the bird hide, and if you are lucky, you may also catch a glimpse of herons, mallard ducks, teals, coots, moorhens and deer.

For a small charge, entrance also includes the Children’s Play AreaDairy Parlour and Small Animal Enclosure.

All the money raised goes towards helping to maintain this Wetland Reserve and the Small Animals Enclosure
